About our course

In recent years there have been significant improvements in the provision of cycle skills training, notably the National Standards and Bikeability initiatives, which have replaced the popular but outdated, Cycling Proficiency Awards.

What has been missing from these initiatives aimed at getting more people cycling, is the fact that although many own a bike, very few people have the skills to repair them. Hence thousands of bikes are left unused in sheds and garages.

Always Be Cycling provide an accessible course designed to give people the skills and confidence to repair their own bikes.

Where We Work

The courses are held in the outdoor craft area of the South Devon Steiner School in Dartington.

All instructors are qualified cycle mechanics.

Professional tools and equipment are provided.
